Our Pro Bono Policy
We understand that much of the effort to preserve cultural history operates on limited budgets and volunteer hours. We want to support those efforts with our time and expertise.
We typically have capacity to service 2-3 pro bono clients per quarter. For entities selected for one of our limited pro bono allotments, here's what to expect:
- We'll create an Arches instance for you (Called a "project") and do limited cosmetic customizations to make it look the way you want
- We'll install and deploy on your machine but you're responsible for any ongoing costs associated with hosting, domain registration, SSL certifications, and monitoring
- We'll award you with a limited budget to import your data in these formats: csv/xlsx, shapefile (shp), WKT, kml, geojson, sql, MSAccess, MySQL, Postgres.
